I just received my SCT XCal2 from Lidio. It took maybe five minutes to install everything - easiest mod you'll ever do! - and then I took it out for a test drive.

Wow! This car behaves 100% *BETTER* than it did before!

I can't really describe it. The shifts are better (solid but not harsh) and the car really generates power a lot better now. No more bogging or hunting in the gears while cruising in the slower speed zones. The car simply winds up and takes off like a totally different animal now. I can actually break the tires loose now if I want to, whereas that would've been impossible before. (And I don't have traction control, either.) Hands down, this was the best $399 I've ever spent on a car!

Trust me, I've wasted an embarrassing amount of money on some high dollar modifications to other cars, and this one is easily the best bang for the buck IMHO. (Plus, how many other mods take five minutes and leave you without greasy fingernails and busted knuckles???)

Now, if I can just convince myself to put the 4.10 gears in there....

THANKS LIDIO!!!

Awesome, ain't it? ;) I hear the 4.10 gears are also a must-do. They are next on my list.

When you finally get the grin off your face, do the 4:10s :D.

Then you'll be right back there again.

Well let me help you with the 4.10 indecision. As pleased as you are with your tune... the gears will cause a similar reaction. With Lidio's tune and the 4.10s you will be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner. The car actually seems so much "tighter". When you accelerate you feel like it.. when you decelerate.. ditto.... The car just seems more like the sports sedan it was meant to be !

DO IT !

Been there, done that, LOVED IT !

Is it easy for someone with little modification experience? I've gotten over my own head changing the oil, so it would be nice if it was simple.

You live in Houston? So do I - in The Woodlands, actually. Feel free to send me a PM and I'll be happy to let you take a ride in my car WITH and WITHOUT the tune installed. It literally takes about two minutes to load or unload the tune, it's that easy.

You simply plug it into the OBDII port under the dash - the same port that reads check engine light codes - and follow the on-screen instructions.

It honestly couldn't be any easier than what it is.
