It was discussed in the past about having a visual warning light for loss or low oil pressure, we all know the Marauder does not have this, neither did Steve Babcock.
The Marauder has a oil pressure gauge, but it does not give a variable oil pressure reading, when the car is started it shows a constant 70 or so PSI, if the oil pressure falls below 10 PSI then the gauge will go to zero, well if the car has only 12 PSI at 60 MPH you have toasted the engine we just had a member do exactly that on a 04, we were able to get this covered under warranty for him. That is why I have always recommended and added the Auto Meter real oil pressure Gauge. So I had the idea of adding a warning light along with this as well. It is very easy to do, below is a picture of the stock OEM oil filter housing and the stock OEM oil pressure sending unit.

At the bottom of the adapter is a Allen head plug, if you have a Trilogy or a Procharger car or a N/A Marauder this is where you can add a stock Ford OEM oil pressure sending unit for a light, all you do is take the plug out put Teflon tape on the sending unit screw it in and run a single wire in the car.

<FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>Now if your car has a Vortech installed you would have removed this plug because this is the oil feed for the SC, so you will have to get a Brass nipple and T and remove the stock OEM sending unit or the Auto Meter sending unit and screw the T fitting in there and add the oil pressure switch and the oil pressure gauge sending unit there.

<FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>The oil pressure switch acts like a open with a minimum oil pressure of 12 PSI any thing less it closes, so what you do is, I went to Radio shack bought a bright 12V LED
<FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>I mounted this next to my OP gauge; the LED has two wires on it.

<FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>You can add this any where you like, I chose this spot, you then run a key on, 12V source. I used a existing lead in the gauge pod, then connect the other lead to the wire coming from the oil pressure sensor, when you key on the car, the light comes on, when the car is started and the sensor reads oil pressure the light goes out. If you wanted to get exotic you could add a relay to kill the fuel pump if you lost OP.
