I posed this question to the membership a few months back: "what's it like to drive a Marauder with a PI 3500 stall converter under the floor boards"?
Many responded, Dennis offered his expert opinion, I read many articles about such and made the decision to install a PI 3500 converter.
It was a big investment around $1,400 parts and labor.
Recall for a moment that when we bought our Marauders the PR was inviting us into the realm of the "Muscle Car". The video we got with the purchase depicted a black MM in a hanger smoking the tires like there was no tomorrow.
After a while the "grin" faded somewhat because our Marauders were timid on the take off. Complaints surfaced, "where is the smoke"? :help:
Enter the Pioneers of transforming the potential of the Marauder into reality.
Chips, tuners, exhaust, pullies, intakes, spacers, nitrous, gears, converters and the supreme power adder the supercharger. :bounce:
Now the "grin" has returned. At a cost I could afford.
For me, I got my grin back with the addition of three items. The flash tune, the 4"10's and the PI 3500 stall converter. They compliment each other.
Now I can view that "hanger" video and live the dream. :burn:
Thanks for letting me get on my soap box :soap:
