Whats Up Guys.i Just Found Out Tonight That I Own Denise Reinharts Vortech Install#1 Air To Air His First Built.i Guy Named Kilmore Owned It Originaly.the Car Ran High 11's Low 12's When He Owned It With The Same Mods.so I Now Im Having Some Kind Of Tuning Problems.the Car Came With A Sct Xcal#2.dennise Called Me Today And Told Me I Would Need A Retune But I Cant Bring It All The WaY To Florida.the Original Owner Had To Retune His Shift Points So Maybe That Is My Problom.car Now Runs 12.9 13.2. A Diffrence Of 1 Second Or More Im Losing Somewhere.hopefully Sal From Power Surge Can Help Me Out.

Since Dennis is still selling the AirtoAir he can probably email you the tune.

You can down load it to your Xcal and then upload it to your car.

I appreciate your excitement. Take this advice and your problem will prob be solved.

I can't guarranty this will solve it, but I can guarranty if the only action you take is posting on this board it will not be solved.

I have DR's Air to Air number 8.

I was also suffering from a loss of power, it was only running 13.1, then it got slower.

First off...is the belt tight, is there any swing left on the tensioner?

I put in a gatorback belt part number 4601105 (2805mm)
basically a 110.5 inch belt. with this belt I have proper belt tension at all times, and no belt slip at all.

You may also have a torn diaphram in the blowoff/bypass valve.
I replaced mine with an Audi part, still a bosch, but holds more pressure reliably, and the diaphram is metal and a rubber ring, better unit.

I would say that from your numbers, that you are right around 400rwhp
there is another 50 or so hiding in there, tuning will bring it out.

The car was re-tuned after the second owner left here with it, so no matter what I f I bought a car with a SC on it I would have A/F checked and the RWHP and Sal can make any needed adjustments and or re'tuning.

Chris don't drive yourself crazy thinking its something wrong with the car. If you've been around this sport long enough, you know guys stretch their times sometimes. To Know that the car ran high 11's then and now you're runnung low 13's maybe it never actually ran High 11's. You know what I mean.

I have seen the time slip for the 12.3 run.I also talked to guys on the forum who have seen the car run at the track.I am 100% certain im losing horse power somewhere.I know it's somthing small i just want the car running at 100% capacity.I'll wait after the holiday and take it to sals and have him operate.Hey jabo i will being getting in touch real soon talk about chroming my rims .I love how your front end looks lowered .Talk to u soon.

Paul i was hoping that it was my 60 ft time and not my tune,thats way i dident ask sal about the car but now i know for sure it's the tune.my 60 ft time at the ptm was 1,889 on the gtec.I also wasent expecting to be leaving so early.SEE YA SOON
