I am getting closer to my back seat F-16 ride at Luke airforce base. I wouldn't mind a F-15 ride either.
Hey...why doesn't it say "contributing member" for me?????????

Hey...why doesn't it say "contributing member" for me?????????You have customized your user title. You can change it to "Contributing Member" if you so choose. Your flags show that you're a contributing member too.

Whole new meaning to the old expression, "flying on one wing." :D Basically a rocket at that configuration and speed. that bird has a lot of control surface and enough power to do it. Dennis

My bro is at Luke AFB, maybe he'll swap keys (are there keys for 16's?) with you for a few hours.;)

My father flew CF-101 Voodoos in the fiftys. They were all weather interseptors over northern Canada. He always said that with enough power you don't need wings to fly. He once took off with over an inch of ice covering the A/C . All they did was free up the controls so they would move .full throttle down the run way ,during the vertical pull all the ice broke loose. There was nothing faster than a Voodoo in below freezing weather

If I remember correctly, the pilot was actually demoted for landing the plane. It was a training mission with an A-4 for ACM work. The instructor was int he backseat and was telling him to punch out, but he got control of the plane and decided to land.
