The piece of trim that goes across two thirds of the dash, the one above the glove box and below the radio with the clock in it for 2003, does it just snap in or is it fastened from behind?
Same question for the black piece of trim that goes around the HVAC control panel, pop out from the front or fastened from the back?

Snaps off with resistance clips. HVAC window is PART of the DMX piece.
Begin at passenger door, lift gently. May need a flat head screw driver just to get your fingers under. Rest just lift with finger force. It'll come snap by snap. Don't be scared. It's made that way.
Same deal on DS w/TC switch.

Another way to get it off is to have a pick-up truck re-end you at a stop light going full tilt...
the whole trim piece will pop right off...just as easy as you please...
I did mine that way about two weeks ago...:(
Personally I'd stick with the gentle screw driver approach...:D

The screwdriver approach is less dangerous to the car & driver....
