So I decided to Armor-all my engine bay. Did all major plastic pieces and hoses. Looks really good, however my camera doesn't really show it that well. I'll post pics here anyway...

Did you clean it with our new friend windex....and his brother WD?

Nice...the reflection hurt my eyes :P
Atleast you didn't fall into the "left alone all day friday" mode.....
Not only- I found myself waxing the underside of the hood and trunk. Like the parts that never get wet..... I guess the door jambs were worth it though.

PS: I thought everyone had martian coolant...go figure.

My 300A has green coolant, the 300B has yellow. There's a thread somewhere around here that discusses this, but it seems that 300As may have either type but 300Bs should all have the yellow.

My 300B has yellow. In case anyone cares.

Green here, 300A. You know, I was thinking about armorall'ing the plastic bits of my engine bay. Guess I've got to go do it now. :P

Yup, the yellow was added half way through the 300A run. So, it'd really a true indicator of the origanal builds.

It looked pretty bad before. We've had some pretty dirty rain here the past couple of days, and the engine bay looked horrible when I went to check on the oil. Light brownish water spots everywhere! Came clean real easy though. I used Armor-all Protectant Wipes. Ya know, the ones that come in that nifty neat plastic can? I really just wanted to use the cleaner ones, but I ran out of those. These worked really well though, and didn't overly shine the valve covers like I thought they would. All the hoses look like new now (der...) and the front plastic sheild and other misc. items look freash off the assembly line. Only took my about 15 mins tops, getting every nook and crannie.

My Marauder is a 300A, built date:08/23/02 and it has the yellow(gold) coolant in it. Very interesting.

My car was made on 8/13/02 and has gold. Book says gold also. Not trying to derail the thread or any thing.

Like I said before... The green indicates the original 6/02 builds.
