MV IV Pics & Videos DVD

Well I have everything finished. Unfortunately I had to delete a lot of your hundreds of pictures and a few videos. I was sent over 2 thousand pictures. I put the better quality ones in TWO DVDS. Yep, it took two DVD's to get this all put together. Thanks everyone for your CD's you sent me. I am sure you guys will be pleased how they came out. One DVD for videos, the other for pictures in a slide show format. Also put the names of the contributors on the slide show.

Now, I need to get a company to reproduce the DVD's at a cost effective rate. Doing one a a time for probably more than a 100 would take forever. So I am now researching a couple of places on the time frame and costs.

I need an Administrator to put up a poll on how many people would like to purchase the Marauderville IV 2-disc DVD's. With the CD box, cost of duplication and postage to ship, I am estimating the actual cost to be around $12.00 or less. I won't really know until I find out actual duplication costs. If anyone knows where this can be done, please PM me.

Thanks for your big time efforts for MVIV and now the pictorial history, Tom. Penny and I want at least one. We had a ball and met many old and new friends. The experience was a reinforcement of the brotherhood we experience around our cars and MM friends. We can't wait for MV5 no matter where it is. I'm definately in. At least 2 copies.

I also think that at that cost level x2 discs plus your shipping to and from the duplicator and shipping to the member, 12-15 bucks is MORE than reasonable.

I would even go so far as to suggest pre-orders from member to help defray initial costs. I'd be happy to offer the first pre-order.

I believe DVD -R is a bit more common than +R for older type DVD players, where as the new ones tend to play both. IMHO

The disks were dupe'd and sent off to MarauderTJA two weeks ago. Hopefully he'll have some free time coming up and get them rollin' out.

My brother did the artwork with a bit of direction from me. I had him use Silver, Blue, DTR(Red) and Black in the artwork. The photo disk has a camera icon, the video disk has a movie camera icon. I'm kinda PO'd at myself, this is my test disc where the center is mostly non-printable. Unfortunately, the graphic was made that way and the production discs have white space between the spindle and end of graphic. I didn't want to delay production another few days updating the graphic, SORRY
