Hey guys, I have not posted in a while. With two boys in travel sports, not much time to post. Will I be banned from the MM community if I take my very special #38 Maruader and paint it ....................... orange? Not a bright orange, but a very dark, deep orange. Any thoughts and responses will be appreciated and summarily dismissed. :D

You won't be banned. I remember the early hype on the Marauder, and it was touted as a car to modify to fit the individual. So paint it any colour you please!

No sir! At least not by me:) I almost went dark British racing green in June of '04 when Ford agreed to re-paint the entire car.

BTW, it's not white. It was a really light Dove Grey. I took the pictures so I saw it in person. That is my car in the background of the third picture.

There is a colour available for CVPIs called something like Titanium grey metallic. It would look good on a Marauder.

There is another used on the Ford truck line called something like Dark shadow grey metallic, it also would look good on a MM.

That light/dove grey just doesn't look right, at least without some appropriate graphics or something added.

A dark burnt orange, possibly metallic might be kinda interesting...gotta go swatch browsing at your local paint-shop Bob. :) If you do it call Will Castro up, I want to see your MM on the Whips show on SPEED.

+2 Sorry Bob, I tend to prefer the "original" colors. If you go through with this..... just don't park next to Lisa's Lavender MM/PT Cruiser or whatever. :rolleyes:

I like the grey and I like the orange, minus the rims. I would like to see any of these; Oxford White, Dark Highland Green, a Sunset Metallic Orange (like the color on some WS6), Crimson Red (04 40th anniversary Mustang Color), or a True Blue.

Bob, you will not be stealthy with an orange Marauder. And if it's not done right, you'll be in the catagory with those cars ^^ up there ^^.

We had a 1977 Lincoln Town Coupe' that was "Diamond Flare Black" Black with metal flake. Pretty nice color on a big car....

If I ever went black again, that would be it.

I painted my wifes car an old ford truck color that was Kinda orange. We were dating at the time. It was originaly Shat Brown. Looked very much like a Caramel Apple when done. I dood a good job...
