It's not too soon to be thinking about Marauderville V !!! Some groups are already hard at work, preparing proposals. So everyone is on the same page, here are the criteria, which will make it easier to compare proposals. No surprises here, as each MV has fit the bill very nicely. MM.Net Administration will review the proposals, which must be submitted by January 15, 2007. Look for an announcement in early February for MVV!!

Criteria for Marauderville V

Lodging

Hotel must be affordable. Someone HAS to make an on-site visit to determine available facilites.
Amenities: High speed (preferably at no extra charge); dining room, banquet facility, bar onsite, pool preferred. Security is a high priority.
The hotel must be able to offer a block of no less than 50 rooms and have ample parking.Itinerary

¼ mile drag strip within a reasonable distance and the cost of use. Road course or oval track may be considered.
Things to see and do: plant/factory tours, museums, breweries, items of general interest to those not dragging. Cruises, car shows, anything automotive and/or transportation related.
Maraudervilles have traditionally been a Thursday through Sunday event. Early Fall (Sept.) would be ideal, although other times will be considered depending on circumstances such as events we can piggyback on (i.e. FFW?).Relate why you feel Marauderville V should be at your location. What makes it “special & unique”?

Please submit your proposal to MM.Net@MercuryMarauder.Net (MM.Net@MercuryMarauder.Net) by January 15, 2007. Follow-up on the proposal may be needed, so please include names and phone numbers of Members involved in the proposal.

If you have any questions, please email MM.Net@MercuryMarauder.Net (MM.Net@MercuryMarauder.Net).

Thanks.
