CV Police 31 spline axles $144.56 each.
CV Police 31 Sline Posi Unit. $149.12
Sam bought these and I couldn't believe the price of the posi unit was so cheap.
If you have to replace your worn axles, you might want to consider this upgrade.

Wow I got a set of Moser 31 splines in the closet from the group buy b/c they were so hard to get. Cool deal. Wonder how these stack up to the Mosers?

How would the PI 31-spline axle torque rating stack up against the Moser 31-spline axle? This is a pretty good deal if they are comparable.

I would think they are just as good. I don't have torque info.

if one were to need to replace their axles, what would be the recommended option - what are the /advantages between stock and the upgrade

Stronger. On a modified car or someone that does a lot of drag racing, the 31 spline axles are thicker and stronger. On Mustangs the stock 28 spline axles break once you get into the 12 second range on the drag stip.

The axles are really no bargain, as you can get a set of aftermarket ones, which will be stronger, for the same price. The Traction-loc is a good price, considering Ford Racing sells the 31 spline Traction-loc for $250. There's no reason to upgrade to 31 spline unless you plan to do some hard sticky tire launches, and with that in mind you'd definitely want the aftermarket axles.

Yes I did! I couldnt believe it either, I kept asking him, "Are you sure its a loaded diff and not just the case?" And Ray had them for me in no time at all. The axles are a good deal when you consider that the ABS ring and studs are already installed. A straight bolt in setup, mine was installed today and I am glad I looked into this option, the cost is comparable to the TSB kit.
Ray has taken care of me on more than a few items lately...I gotta stop sending him emails!
Thanks Again Ray!!!

moser claims their c-clip axles are 33% stronger than an oem axle of the same spline. id stay with the mosers for the price...more bang for the buck...

I can show you how the 31s are pretty useless once you get to the 10 second range.

I was wondering how they would hold up compared to aftermarket. Thanks for your answer..:D

Very interesting. Do the axles need a different bearing & seal or are they the same?
