I see you guys talking about a 300A and a 300B Marauder...What's the difference between the two? Someone was asking me about it and I need a quick answer. Thanks

The 300A is the early build with out traction control.

The 300B has traction control and most are decontented re: No fuel door release, auto brake release (parking), radio in clock, no pockets on front seats.

Thanks...the one I'm checking on is a late 02 build. I'm not sure about the traction control, how can you tell it has it without actually driving it? Any switches I could look for or ask about?

Yes, there's a switch next to the pedal adjuster switch, to the left of the steering wheel. If there's a notch in the gas fill door to open it, it's a 300B. If there's a mini spare, it's a 300B.

it doesnt have a switch and it has a full size spare with a grey rim.

Check the build date on the door jam (driver side) changes started in 11/02.
From A to B cars, again only the '03 car has A or B all '04's are A.

Well ther are a few exceptions. My 03 has T/C but also has map pockets,auto brake release,fuel door release and the clock below radio in dash. Is it a 300A , 300B or 300A/B?

300B because you couldn't get a 300A with traction control. As John said, "most are decontented."

you have a 'pre-decontented" 300B.
I have one as well, as does Marty, Cruzer, and a few others. They were the first of the 300B run.

I also have the first run of the 300B's. It's fast.
