It is a muffler company, although I think their products are thought of more like Resonators. A member here in Chicago had a Marauder with SLP Slip-Ons and it sounded good at the low end, but at the high end it got too high pitched and 'pingy' for my tastes. The owner liked it, and that's all that matters.

SLP....... Street Legal Performance? if this is the company you are referring to, I know at one time that were producing kits exhaust ect. to go on Ford Rangers( "Thunder" editionsI think they called them) to compete with Chevy Extremes. This is after being a Tier 1 vendor for the Firebird Firehawk untill the F body went away in 2003....

They used to be based in Troy, MI don't know if this is the case now as Ed Hamberger the President was a NJ native and may have consolidated operations there if still in biz.

Hope this helps your research,

Here's a clip of the SLP Loudmouth 1(they make 2 styles) catback on my '04 Mach 1..I think it sounds excellent, and is a very high quality product. I'm sure any good exhaust shop like the ones that are listed here could modify it to fit:

I currently have Magnaflows on my MM, sounds good.
