I get the Trilogy blower kit. Kit contains an Eaton m112 blower. From my research you are talking about REAL power and torgue! I figure I will not be happy with just a chip and a few bolt on mods. I will wait and get the real upgrade.
Good for you....just get in line behind menace (that poor guy has been begging them to be first):D

NEPatsFan, GOOD CALL!, hopefully this decision will work out for both of us. I,m not saying the other mods don't work (,I am impressed with the chip), they just don't make a big difference. The supercharger will.

I agree. I want to feel real power and nothing else will substitute.

What type of strain does the blower put on the drive line? Is the engine strong enough to handle it?

But will it fit???
http://www.automotive.eaton.com/product/engine_controls/M112.html
138.5 (I assume mm, 13.9 cm or about 5 1/4 "), will there be enough room to fit it once the intake is gone?
Don't get me wrong, I would rather a roots type blower, in a shippable kit. I've been trying to justify sending my machine to KB for some mods, but getting it there (~4000 miles away) would be tough. In my case, it's better that the parts come to me...

My marauder stays bone stock 'til the warrantee time is up. LOL, it sure won't be mileage first, that's for certain.
At which point I'm in for the Trilogy blower as well. Plan to install it myself. So.....a third Massachusetts guy with the same plan!
Best,
Paul:D

Well, I think I've finally decided on the Trilogy blower as well. Guess I'll have to get in line after Menace and NEPatsFan now . . .
Regarding the Eaton-type blower, isn't this the more conservative approach anyway (vs. a roots-type blower)? The Eaton is a centrifugal blower, isn't it? Since we're all doing this before the warranty expires, I'm going as carefully as I can . . . e.g., minimum boost pressure, no trips to the track, WOT only every OTHER stoplight, etc.

Actually the Eaton is a roots type. The Vortech and paxton are centrifugal type.
