Jim;

Didn't I read this somewhere? "for where two or three Marauderites have gathered together in North Texas, there I am in their midst - Cruzer."

I'm coming to the 20th meeting for sure.

The forecast is getting worse and worse. At one point they said it might not hit until Sat. night, but now they are saying 70% chance thunderstorms. Well, guess I'll see you guys on the 20th.

It was a dirty shame that last week-end was such a total loss for car enthusiasts--so, let's make up for it this Saturday--I hope to see a bunch of Marauders at Sport City Toyota at 10AM Saturday morning---you have been wanting a Club meeting on Saturday--now you have it--be there. Rain doesn't wash the paint off Marauders--I've got proof----so what if the weather is kinda yuccky ---come on to the meeting and make your day brighter--lots of things to do and plans to make for 2007--SEE YOU THERE, Maury

Sorry I can't make it this weekend but with all the ice on the ground and another 5-10" of sleet/snow mix forecast here in Ok.:( I'm gonna have to pass. I'll just have to find out later what you guys come up with for this year. I wish it were just rain because I have no problem getting my baby alittle wet but putting her jeopardy in these nasty conditions, not happnen.Hope to see you all at future events.

Just talked to Bob Arnold of the Cougar Club. Since the forcast is for temps above freezing, the meeting is still on for tomorrow. I plan to be there, but everyone will understand if you choose to stay at home. We all know how skittish the Marauders are in water---soooooooo:help: Bill had a little set-back and is O K, but he and Kay are both pretty tired, so I think we should call off the visit for now . I'll post a full report tomorrow nite, Hope to see you there, Maury

And rain it did !!! Four brave souls ventured out to the LSCC meeting at Sport City Toyoto--the interesting thing is that the worst part of the trip was trying to find the way into the dealership. Construction on I 635 resulted in the removal of exit signs ?????, traffic reroutes and elimination of entrances to the dealership. All of us finally found our way in and enjoyed a good meeting. The Feb. meeting will be at Autorama in Dallas Market Hall on Thursday nite, the 15th---come in after 5 PM and help out with the club set-up and get to see all the cars free--just tell the guard that you are helping set-up the Lone Star Cougar Club display--don't miss this opportunity. The March meeting has not been set up yet. April has the LSCC Car Show at Chucks in Grapevine on Saturday, April 14th. Registration from 10 AM til 12 Noon---awards at 3 PM. The regular Chucks Saturday Cruise will be the 4th Saturday in April. The AER Car Show is the 1st Saturday in May--great show--more info later. That should keep your calendar busy for a while. I will be at Autorama, but I will be with the Cow Town Mopars with the Barracuda---see you there.
The brave souls at the meeting today were Steve(RVT04), Rod (Redster), Justin and Angela (CRAZYBIKER) and myself. We could have held a contest for the dirtiest car:D Hope to see all of you in the next month or so. I imagine Pat will publish a formal schedule as soon as we can tie it down.
Oh, yes, the subject of club shirts came up--we now have some good leads on good work--give us a few weeks and we should have definite info--will set up a poll when it's time to order. Also, we have a suggestion for a marauder get together very soon in the Fort Worth area--we need a good suggestion for a place with parking spaces--any ideas????
Well that's it for tonite, Maury

More info : Sonny stopped by for a quick visit--welcomed us and we still have his support. Also, Jerod is now with Sport City Toyoto--didn't get to spend any time with him--he looked happy and asked me to say Hi to all his friends.

It was kinda weird meeting in a Toyota dealership. But it has a good room to have a meeting and LSCC has some good ideas for the coming year including a car show. Maybe I'll bring one of my DVD's next time. They were super friendly, one of the sales managers personally directed me to the meeting room. I guess Sonny put out the word.
I made a detour to Clark's BBQ in Tioga on the way home to pick-up some Q.
I'm going to check out a 50's diner on Beach St. for a possible breakfast.
Cheers.
