I have a project in mind that I am trying to work out details on, but I need some data.
How much clearence is there between the intake and the hood? I would heck, but sence I have about 10 feet between MY intake and hood, I thought I would ask here. :)

Would this project by any chance include the number 5.4 in it? Or perhaps involve pressurisation of air?
:D :D

Find a fresh, clean and crispy paper grocery bag and open up.
Fold it into a box like structure and staple the bag closed.
Place it on your intake and close the hood.
Measure what's left.
I know you can't do this Mad, neither can I right now, but maybe someone has a few moments to help out? The answer may be important to many of us.
Now THIS is going to be an interesting thread/answer to watch...
Just how is this going to measured precisely?
Maybe send LL3 into the engine bay with a flashlight, ruler..and close the hood on him?
Awhh...Mac, I had to take a phone call and you presented a plausible method....I still like the idea of using LL3, though

Oh...you want precision? Sorry...
I can't help here. After all, I was married...
I learned everything one needs to know about being specifically vague...
