Sounds Great,I still think GMs & CVs are real sleepers,I surprised many with my 01 GS with the handling Pkg. I still think my 01 would be right on the heals of my MM

Sounds great! You must be very good at spotting CVPI and WImpala taillights!!! My Vic would eat that car though . . .

It goes 112 before the speed limiter!:flamer:

By the way, if you bounce it off the limiter for about two seconds, it sets a code in the PCM. I think P1279 - Vehicle Speed Limit Reached. You might want to check and clear that code!

I had a 2002 GM LSE prior to the MM. The mods were: UD pullies, the chip, the MM MAF/Airbox, bigger throttlebody and ziptube. With these mods, the car was VERY quick, more so than a stock MM. With your exhaust and these mods, you'll have a very nice ride. I'd even suggest putting a limited slip posi of some kind.

The light that was illuminated on the dash was the Trac control light  . I never got a check engine light from hitting speed limiter though.

You won't get a Check Engine light, just a stored code for excessive speed. You'll need an enhanced scan-tool though. I don't think it will show generically. Just a heads up!

very true rick. i always admired your old ride, glad to see you still motor around in style.

i have driven a few marauders for extended periods of time, that is why i still own my car. they just didn't feel faster than my car. i just hope ford will fire up another car that will spark up such interest as the marauder did.

nice vids 1badlse!

I cant rememeber for sure what model snap on code scanner we have But i think any snap on scanner with the proper software should be able to show and clear the code if it threw one.

Yes! A Snap-on Scanner used on the enhanced side (NOT generic OBDII) should read and clear that code. You'll need at least '03 domestic s/w to do it. There's some changes from '02 and it may not suffice. Try it anyway, regardless. Hey, slow down, would ya  !

Be safe,
