I wonder if there`s any Marauders up in the U.P.? The odds would say yes but will we ever know.

Don't be picking on da yoopers. I spent 4 years there (77-81) going to school at Michigan Tech (http://www.mtu.edu/).

Great school, crappy location. My roommate had a Chevy Vega POS that got us to and from the Detriot area most of the time.

There's a nice cruise in St Ignace, or St Ignorance as we called it.

Im 1987 I crewed on a 41ft. C&C in the Port Huron to Mackinac sail boat race.I ended up breaking my foot and had to go to the hospital there. The doctor there who treated me was named Dr Hawkens.I didn`t think much of it until the Detroit news ran a big story about him.He was born and raised and got his medical education all in the U.P. I thought that was pretty cool.Damn,Still got that limp though.

I go snowmobileing in the Munising area every winter. me and a handfull of my southern friends went over 400 miles last year. We traversed everytrail it seems like from Lake Michigan to Lake Superior. My favorite run is the haywire trail which is a extreamly high speed run....Anybody else snowmobile ?

What is up! I thought I was the only person that had a V8 Maverick in Michigan! Mine was a 1971 that would run 13.9 at Martin. Lots of memories with that car as it was my senior year in high school.
