I had mine done at my local Ford dealer. No way would I drill holes in the MM myself. Had othe work thet need done at the time anyhow. Guy thought I was nutzo putting a spoiler on it until he saw it mounted and painted. He thought it was great then. He didn't even know the spoilers existed till I showed him on their website. ;) I'm telling ya, it's a continueing education program with everyone.

NATEHAWK - how hard was the install?
A do-it-yourself-er using simple hand tools ( hammer, punch, drill, drill bits, hole saw-drill, nut driver ) that takes less than 30minutes.

HAH!!! My Spoiler didnt come with the template so it was a MAJOR PITA to get it installed.
It came with 4 self tap screws and 3M adhesive. I had to drill 2 small extra holes under the trunk lid so I can tighten the screws to the spoiler.
I suggest a body shop taking care fo the install.

With my help, RF Overlord has installed 3 spoilers, including our own. If someone needs the template, I'd be glad to email it. Yes, it was an anxious moment drilling that first hole....but all installs came out great. Just a little over an hour install time for each, taking our time.

The install is very straight forward, but make sure you line the trunk floor with a plastic drop cloth. Get a sheet big enough so that you can bring the drop cloth up and duct tape it to the drip ledge around the perimeter of the trunk opening. It took me a year of vacuuming before I finally got the last of the metal shavings up. Even today I'll find a shaving once in a while.
