cat-back exhaust system on Marauder

Has anyone checked to see if the "cat-back" exhaust system of the Marauder can be retrofitted on 03-up Crown Vics or possibly 98-02 Crown Vics? I heard the rear suspension on the 03-up Panther is essentially the same as the 98-02, with the exception the rear shocks are moved outboard of the frame rails. It'd be interesting to know if the Marauder exhaust could bolt-on to the 98-02 Panthers, or possibly using aftermarket T-304 Marauder cat-back kits.

The Borla cat back system is not offered for any Panther newer than 02. i believe the hangers and the placement of same changed radically in 03... pipe bends may be the same...but Borla told me it was not a bolt on...So I am surmising that the 03 and newer factory dual setup may not easily retro to the 02 and older...of course pipefitters and welders can do miracles.. What about everything downstream of the cats? I do not plan to touch my stock logs or Magnaflow cats, but I am interested in the H-pipe, mufflers, and tail pipes. There aren't any aftermarket T-304 cat back kits for 98-present Panthers as far as I can see. The OEM factory T-409 cat-back systems for 98-02 is about $800 wholesale, and about $350-$400 for 03-present. I'd be very happy with the $400 03-present cat-back, but I would like to know if they will easily retrofit onto a 98-02 aft of the cats, especially the Marauder system.

The cat back system by Borla for the 02 and older is a fine unit... I have had mine on three different Panthers...sounds good and has flat clamps so can re reused... over and over....

A good Muffler Shop could make it fit, it will not be a bolt on system.
Talk to Dennis Reinhardt about Cat Back systems.
