well i put the marauder on the dyno machin today to get a base line before the mods start and with a JLT kit i put down 239hp and 243tq so all in all im not real happy with the jlt kit considering i put down what a stock one put down with stock filter,so i think the 10-14hp is a bunch of crap without the supporting mods

What was your baseline dyno #s? Type of dyno used? Stupid question, but did you do a computer reset after installing the JLT? My original numbers with a PHP airbox, PHP intake spacer and chip were very disappointing on a Mustang Dyno. After a retune was done by a shop that knows what they are doing I was much happier.

you dont have to do a computer reset when doing a airfilter ,your computer will adjust fuel trims automaticly,it was on a mustang dyno ,i know cars will vary with numbers so i went off the other maruader numbers there that were from a bone stock marauder

Not sure what to tell you and I don't know the differences between a Mustang Dyno and Dyno Jet dyno (I do think the Mustang reads a little lower), but I put down 260 rwhp and 280 rwtq with only the JLT and a tune from Lidio. I really think the tune is the first mod any Marauder owner should do. Even if they have no plans to ever do anything else to the car. Driveability alone is worth it.
But that "sucking" sound of the JLT is worth the price of admission as far as I am concerned.

The Mustang allows the operator to input various criteria that can affect the HP/TQ numbers. They are frequently used for emmissions testing. Simluated 1/4 miles runs, etc.
A Dyno Jet is designed not to have any input criteria from the operator.

If you are comparing your JLT #'s with another persons baseline, you are really making an odd supposition here. Without your own stock baseline you have no clue what the improvement was.
Not all cars, and especially not all dyno's are created equal. You made the same #'s on a mustang dyno that someone made stock on say, a dyno jet.
I think you're overlooking too many variables here, unless you have a baseline on the Mustang dyno you really don't know how much you gained and where at in the curve.

235rwhp 351tq for me. That was with a K&N cone filter on the MAF. I havn't done anything else because I don't really see a benifit of a kit from it over the stock elbo. The problem is the airbox.
Your not that bad. Or we both just suck....
I now have a DR Tune and 3.73's and the car is MUCH better...
