I just have a quick question....

The website asks for a lot of vehicle specific information (a lot of which I don't know). It seems easier to order by phone... which I'll probably do tomorrow. Do I need to have any vehicle/computer information before ordering?

you need the pcm code.
Open the drivers door, look at the edge of the dashboard, for a postage size sticker probably says "MAV2"
take a look.

I think all the '04s have the same code (MAV2). The '03's had different codes.

As previously stated all 04's PCM code is MAV2, in addition you will need the rear tire hight, usually 28 inches for stock and 29 inches for KDW2, measure to be certain.

You will also need to know your rear end gear ratio, 3.55:1 stock or if you have after market gears what is it's ratio. Are there any other mods, air cleaner, thermostat changes, spark plugs, # of coffee cup holders. Torque converter changes should also be noted.

All this is necessary for the tuner programmer to develop a tune tailored for your car without actually being on his dyno. You can say these are "canned" tunes but they are based on extensive testing and experience by the developer's of software for Marauder applications.

You may ask for certain things to be changed or not as you wish, like shift points, rev limiter setting, speed limiter on/off and transmission shifting firmness. Talk to your doctor, err tuner.

Look at our Vendor's ad's they have good reliable tunes for the Marauder.

And BTW the Marauder is NOT a Mustang.

If you have a 04 there is only one code, if not its on the EEC or the drivers door jamb where the hinges are located, its probably BMD0, I sell the X cal 2 for 379.00 it comes with a freee usb cable I do not charge for updated files you can always reach me by phone call me ant time.
