I've replaced all my interior incandescents with LEDs. The difference is like night & day. I added 2 more stop/turn sockets per side & filled them with red LEDs. Much more light since I did the S55 tail light mod. Also did the backup lights. If you replace one-at-a-time the difference is unbelievable. The stock lights look yellow, the LEDs are white. This weekend I'll be changing the front turn/running lights to LEDs (need to add a resistor per side). If there is enough interest I may put a kit together for the masses.

Fastblackmerc, would you happen to have part #'s for the interior LEDs?

The part numbers will depend on who you get your LEDs from.......

Where have you been getting yours? Hard to figure who to trust for brightness via the internet. If I got a positive nod on a vendor, I'd be buyin in a heartbeat!

Well, my buddy ordered several types of LEDs before going w/ what he installed. He mentions in the post about getting at least 1watt bulbs and recommended sylvania (http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/)for bulb sizes.
The biggest trial and error comes w/ what shape and direction the LED bulb has to use, and it was hit and miss for him.
That's why he gave specific links- in his situation

Heres the link for all your LED needs.
Super Bright LEDs - Car Bulbs (http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm)

My friend did full LEDs in his Maxima including the gauges and it really looked hot. I just been putting this mod off.

Are the exterior LED lights compliant with FMVSS 108?

What the he!! is FMVSS 108?

Nevermind I found it..... Why wouldn't it comply? I'm increasing the light output. Plus the CV's have 4 sockets in each rear tail light.

I can jus t see it now.... "Sir, Do you know why I pulled you over? No sir why? Your taillights are too bright and they violate FMVSS 108, part ....blaa, blaa, blaa......"
