Looking for some good quality seat covers. Not some fake sheepskin from WallyWorld but some good fitting, washable covers.

If you have seat covers on your MM please post a pic of them and the good or bad points in daily driving.

Does the MM have side impact airbags that come out of the seat?

If it does...you DO NOT want seat covers ;)

:D I don't think the Marauder has anything other than front airbags. It's 30 year old Detroit design plus some newfangled goodies, but I don't think they got quite that far.

Sorry mate but your wrong. The Marauder has front passanger and driver airbags along with side impact safety curtains. Look on the sides of your seats and you will notice a little tag that has SRS or HRS or some three letter combo with S's in it. That was an attractive option when I got it. Not only is it a 4000 + pound tank with steel hydroformed frames and reinforced doors but head and side impact airbags, gotta love it.

If you have seatcovers on a car with seat airbags, (Marauder) then you will get the friction-burn of your life it it deploys. It will rip that cover off similar to the act of pulling a tablecloth off a table and not knocking anything over. Except a lot faster!

The only thing that the 2003 Marauder has in common with a 30 yr. old design is that it is still a car.

The platform has had been updated and improved on with proven results.

Your Camaro and Firebird ARE 30 year-old design. Take a gander under the Marauder. Aluminum everywhere, 32 valves, 4 cams and a lot of horsies out 4.6 liters. Be careful.....

We DO have side airbags and seat covers may KILL you in an accident that tries to deploy the side airbags.

I would not do seat covers under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES in this car. A seat BOTTOM cover, maybe, but definately no full covers.

I didn't think the MM has side curtain airbags in it. It's got side airbags for the driver and front passenger that come out of the seat, but I don't think it has the side curtain airbags. Am I wrong? It would be a nice surprise if I am.

Side airbags ONLY, no side curtain airbags. Don't put a seat cover on the seat back.........

The sheepskin seat cover manufacturer that made the covers for my Mercedes has a box to check if you have Side Impact Seat Airbags. They stitch it differently.

Seat covers for the Marauder can be obtained.
The FHP Marauders have them, there are slits
on the sides that are held shut with velcro,
to accomodate the side airbags.

Thanks for the post. This thread sure went sideways and I wasn't sure it would get back on topic.

Does anyone have pics of the FHP covers? Are they available from Ford or did they come from the conversion company?
