Police Interceptor Gods head badge? On ebay

Can anyone explain this find to me please? A P.I. badge(Ford?) with a Gods head(Mercury?) in the center.:dunno:

I did a half arse search on crownvic.net and couldn't find anything there either. I'm sure somebody reading this must have seen this before, or own one. I can't believe this emblem(?) is one of a kind. I'll probably PM Daniel.

I don't want to speak for Daniel, but IIRC he was experimenting with different design ideas and this happened to be one of them. Daniel does great work and tries to provide products with a wide appeal.
