This a great deal everyone:up: . I got a set from Dennis and put them on the front with my 14" Baer brakes. What a difference. Even with stock brakes you will absolutely love the firm pedal feel. Not mushy what-so-ever. Jump on this...

I discounted the performance and feel that SS lines would bring. I was wrong. The SS lines are worth way more than $200 in peace of mind and braking confidence just for the feel and control. I'd consider it a safety issue for anyone.
It changes your feeling from "oh crap will I stop in time?" to "I know exactly how much pressure to put down to stop exactly where I want".

Tech. Question: Is this ALL brake lines? ....involves the ABS?
Do all the lines in the kit come already with fittings? About how long does it take an amateur to make the conversion?
Side question: what kind of brake fluid do you guys recommend, if any other than stock DOT 3 (and i am assuming the stock MM fluid is non-synthetic DOT 3)?

It would be all 4 lines. Fittings are there. They are L/R and F/R oriented. It'll take about 30 - 45 min per wheel including jacking, removing the wheel, changing the line, bleeding, and replacing the wheel. Of course, that assumes you have help with the bleeding. I didn't take note of the fluid when I helped Steve do the lines at DR's shop.

Of course, that assumes you have help with the bleeding.
With the correct Scanner, you can energize each line to help with the bleeding
and you can do it completely yourself.

Could you explain this a bit more, please?
will these brake lines work with any aftermarket big brake kit that I may get in the future. Wilwoods, Baer, etc?

Doesn't anybody know how to bleed brakes with a hydraulic jack handle bar and the power seat function? I've been doing brakes by myself using this process for decades.

Dennis, just want to say thanks for the opportunity and thanks to you and the other guys for the good information here. It appears that the s.s. lines and some good pads would be a really cost effective upgrade from stock.
Though i would like to do so, no can do right now. After 15 yrs. of me playing around with my toys she has finally said no for once. Even though it is a relatively small purchase compared to the built engine and s/c, etc. in my 'stang, at this time i need to finish the TR-3 restoration in my garage that i am over $5K into, before starting to mess around with the MM or anything else. Can't argue with her logic on that.:banned:
Hopefully there will be another time.
Thanks again, Joe

Dennis: A few questions ;
1. What improvements does it give to the Marauder?
2. Would it void the warranty?
3. Does free shipping apply to Canada?
With regards,

I wanted to take a few minutes to give you a update on th GB just so every one knows, I was the first Vendor on this site to offer these stainless steel brake lines, as well as a upgraded brake rotors and pads, I was asked to start this group buy by the members here, I was not aware of the other GB, so I apologize to that vendor. KVR has lines in production now and they should be ready to ship in one week thank all of you for patients and thank all of you for your support on this web site and all the vendors here.

Will do, most likely next week... I'm also interested in the rear engine cooling, and 180* stat, or a Stage I kit...

Is this GB over? Seeing that KVR is a sponsor of my Toronto-SVTOA and I can only get the lines discounted to $270 CDN this sounds like it may be a better deal.

Ah, crap. I just called and talked with Jackie. Somehow I thought today was today, but today was yesterday. :(
Oh well, I'll probably still order some from you Dennis for the $20 U.S. more than the GB. Up here in KVR's home province they list them for $272.95 U.S. and even with the SVTOA sponsorship I can't get a better deal than with you. My other excuse for not ordering them is I'm waiting for all the snow and ice to melt
