Unlike the Marauder, the Civic isn't fast enough to break itself.

How about a Ford Fusion or a Mercury Milan?

Why not a Focus ?

Honda Civic, like its ricers sibblings, is a dull but good car. BUT it could drain your bank account very quickly when need for service occurs.
Recent examples :
- windshield for a Subaru Impreza Outback (wife's car) : 1.200 $ (Canadian)
- windshield for A MGM : 690 $
- front breaking pads for the Subaru : 520 $
- front breaking pads for the MGM : 315 $
- same differences applies for shock absorbers, etc

Personally, I am not in love with the Focus. But I drove some of them in all kinds of conditions (snow, mountains, icy roads, good roads). Chassis and handling are still over the top (in its category) and the engine vs mpg are good.
Based upon some experience with ricers (FX45 that I sold and current wife's Subaru) I decided not to buy them again.

Only the newier Focus is worth buying. I had a 2001, the most recalls on any Ford vehicle made was the title given to it.

Don't forget to pick up some type-r stickers and emblems for her! lol j/k

If the MM only got the mpg the civic did the MM would still be made to this day lol.

For a few dollars, this could be a Marauder beater. I've seen some quick ones.

That's a load of BS but either way, not a bad beater. How much did it cost, $9000?
