Hi guys, does anyone sell OEM Marauder wheels as take-offs? My fronts have some chips around the edges from the idiot that just aligned the car. I am going to complain to the store manager and the district manager but I don't expect anything out of them.

I saw wheels on Ebay that are new aftermarket, but I contacted the guy who sells them and he says they are bare aluminum, not clearcoated aluminum. I wouldn't want to use bare front wheels if my rears are clear coated factory.

Also can you still buy NEW marauder wheels from Ford dealers? Thanks!

Yes you can still get the original wheels from Ford and the newer ones that fit the Mustang but the center cap won't fit. There are companies that repair rims. Just goggle "wheel repair" and you'll get 2,770,000 hits. Most of the well known ones are on the first page. Also search the site as others have had their wheels repaired in the past. I believe Weldcraft fixes them as well as widen them. There companies that will fix minor damage without removing the tire or the rim from the car and they will do it at your house or place of business.

There is zero damage to the metal, just the clear coat. I am aware of wheel repair places. I'd rather not have them re cleared. The factory clear has no texture to it at all, it was likely buffed to have such a nice level gloss. A wheel remanufacturer will not achieve this finish, I have had remanned wheels before and was never satisified with the appearance or durability of the clears. I'm really only interested in a perfect used or OEM new wheel. Thanks anyway though.

Try a place that does powder coating. Though they will want to strip the rim
and reshoot.

Tape the areas off and spray with Dupli-Color clear. Build it up slowly. Buff it out in a couple days. You'll never know.
