Are 2000 panther axles the same as ours?
If so, do 2000 CVPI's (actual former police vehciles particularly) come with 31 spline?
I think the 07 police cars come with 31 spline

CVPIs and Commercial heavy duty packages from 2005 come with 31 spline axles.
I believe 2000 MY panther are different.

2000 CVPIs were 28 spline, non-traction lok. Also, the 03-up cars have longer axles since everything in the rear is moved outward more, so anything pre-03 won't fit.
Thanks.

What Sal said. -02 axles are shorter than 03+, though the track width is comparable (change in axle housing width made to compensate for high positive offset wheels)
All -04 axles will be 28 spline, with the exception of Limo package Town Cars.
CVPIs and Commercial heavy duty packages from 2005 come with 31 spline axles.
We've had two people on CVN now with civilian 2005+ cars that had 31 spline axles/carrier. Seems all 2005+ have 31 spline.
