After this latest round of cold -18F weather I noticed that I get a little belt squeal for the first minute or so of running.

Anyone else getting this?

Anything I should look for this weekend when I open the hood? Besides Jimmy Hoffa or frozen squirrels?

Take the belt off and check to see if any of the pulleys are stuck..Not free and spin freely on their own...If they are good...Then try another belt...Maybe the original is worn out..

I think the recomended replacement belt is a Goodyear Gatorback.

I have this exact same problem. When the belt warms up the squeak goes way but it is annoying for about 5 minutes. I have tried to get 2 dealers to fix it but one came back and said they could not replicate and the other said that it was a noisy crank pulley and there was nothing they could do.

Guys,

Anyone having this issue, please send me a PM with your kit number. Maybe I can do some research and find out what's going on.

Thanks

Jerry

Everytime that has started on my CV or F-150 it was always an idler pully.

I have this problem on my Trilogy Marauder, but Jerry sent me some parts. I will not have an answer for a month or so. Too cold outside to deal with the problem. Thanks Jerry for your support. Now I need Trilogy art work before June. Sherman and I are gunning for Pinks all Out at MIR.

Ha i didnt realize this was in The Trilogy Forum, my marauder isn't blown and I still have it. Maybe its nothing to do with your kit jerry.

I am not supercharged but have been getting a bad slip noise at the 1-2 upshift at WOT.

Appears to be spread amongst many whether N/A or supercharged. Belt? Tensioner?
