Has anyone found the exact reason for this to happen. I live in Sugar Land, Texas (near houston)(high humidity) and have never had it happen here, but I've got a friend who lives in huntsville (north of houston/south of dallas) (lower humidity than sugar land i believe) and it seems like it always happens their, even if it's not that cold out. Any speculations?

White smoke coolant leak or condensation in exhaust
Black smoke too much fuel
Blue Grey smoke oil, possibly valve guide/seal
Do a search.
