Here are a couple of pictures of the car from 2005 when it was here in MN.

I'd love to drive that and see how a big car performs with a manual tranny.

This is SO awesome! Ive always wondered what it would look and Drive like. Atleast I got half of my wish. Does anybody know what kind of tranny is in there? Is it a 5 or 6 speed? Is it a mustang tranny or something else to handle the extra bulk? Im in awe!

You can see how far ahead the shifter opening has to run toward the dash. Its because even the rear-most shifter position on the T-56 (which I think is what he used) is still a mile away from the driver in our cars. You need to put a wicked pair of 90s in the shift lever to get it back to where you can reach it. Feel free, someone, to tell me I'm wrong :)

PS
Would love to see more pictures of the car, though. Very, very tough looking.

The car used to break alot back in the day(Indy) but I understand they have the bugs worked out now.Im not sure what kind of times it runs.John Kuhn knows a little about it as Paul`s does most of the work on his Grand Monkey.

So I heard. 4500 rpm launches will do that, though. Mine will not see drag duty, so I'm not too worried about breakage. Mac had mentioned stuff about angles being wierd in our cars compared to Mustangs, but we have not found that to be the case.

It has a Viper transmission with pro cut gears in it now. Paul replaced the rear end with a much heavier one after it broke both axles on that hard launch. If I remember right it is now 625 Hp at the rear wheels.

last I heard, around the same time frame Jdando speaks of, Paul had the N&I trouble free Street Stalker in the 11.20's, not too shabby! :coolman:

Hood louvres are definitely on my future "Want" list.

The 6-speed sounds fun but I think for the type of car it is I like the auto better.
