My interior rear view mirror viborates in it's houseing since day one. I have never had it replaced because the dealer is so far away they always need the car for a full day. At first I thought it was caused from my tires that were in need of balance; but that was not the root of the problem. My 04 has 23000 mi. When ever I need to see clearly out from it I hold the mirrior so it doesn't shake. Would this still be covered under warrantee ?

Should be covered if you have not passed the 36 month timeframe.

If you have bumper to bumper coverage then yes.
You should drive by the dealer and show them the problem, let them order the parts and then bring the car over and have them fix it while you wait.
A mirror shouldn't be all that a big deal.

If you are still within your 36 month warranty (or ESP) and the mirror glass is loose, I would certainly play up the safety aspect of not having a good view out the back window. Be prepared with a good reason on why you have waited this long to have the problem addressed.
I'd be more concerned about what is causing the vibration to be so noticeable in the mirror. If it is tire balancing, get it corrected now 'cause it is just chewing up your tires and putting extra stress on your suspension. If it is not tires, you may have some bigger problems than the mirror and I would want to get that fixed PDQ.

Maybe the mirror just has to be tightened? Small allen wrench is all that is needed.

The mirrior shake is due to the mirrior houseing not the wheel balance as I initially thought. I found the problem out by accident while adjus ing it one day. Good to hear it should be covered.:) :)
