A bunch of cars from CVN will be meeting at 12:00 at the Great Lakes Dragaway, Southwest of Milwaukee (easy drive from Chicago) on Sunday 1st April.

Anyone who would like to come too would be very welcome - it would be nice to have some fast cars! This is their opening weekend and racing is free that day I believe (check their website though).

Should be good temperatures for great runs. Bring food!

See the thread on www.Crownvic.net in the North Central forum. We should have at least 8 CVN cars there and I hope a lot more.

This will become a regular thing - we will meet again in May sometime at Byron (SW of Rockford).

Look forward to seeing you - Bradley ???

I'll be there no question, but I'll only be running 14s.

Almost everyone there would kill to only be running 14's!

I will be bringing my new drag radials just to try to crack 14.6 and so far I am the fastest of the NA group!

We have 8 probable attendees already from CVN - we should be able to get 12-15 cars which will rival STAP.

In your dreams! :bs: :D
I am gonna try to make it.
I have learned to be patient in the spring weather time frame

I'll be there no question, but I'll only be running 14s.

Car is done at the HI Po shop now. Dyno numbers are 310 RWP and 323 torque. They told me it launches hard and hooks up good. Going to be real hard to wait this out. NA all the way!

We are all looking forward to it at CVN. Looks like we will have a good number of cars.

I am sneaking in a 3.55 rear and 31 spline axles the week before. (The 3.55 is really to make the car quieter at 65mph by changing the revs. I doubt that it will do much to my 1/4.)

If the track is closed due to rain we are going to meet anyway in the same area.

There is a park on the map in Union Grove called the "Old Settlers County Park". We will meet there if the track is closed. It is on RT11 - just head into Union Grove from I94 (going West on 11) and it is on your left as you come out of town.

It was a pretty good meet all in all, It rained for about an hour and a half or so, then we were back to racing. The weather unfortunately somewhat killed the turnout. We had around 8 cars still show up.

John your Marquis is very impressive, glad I got a chance to see it in person.

Hey guys I had a good time and it was nice to meet all of you. The conditions could have been a lot better but it was still fun. Tony you are getting that car going pretty good, that 14.42 looked good to me. The best mine did was 13.76 but we found a couple of things that we need to address so I hope to improve. the one good thing about the rain was the fact that you could sit and talk with people and hear there stories. Lookforward to seeing you goys again. remember I am going to Martin Mich. on Sat. April 14 so come on over and have some fun. This is a very nice dragstip as it was rebuilt a few years ago.
