I've seen several on ebay and I was wondering if anyone has bought a set and how they worked out it and if they would be worth buying? I won't be upgrading the size because I want the option of being able to throw steelies with snow tires on.
They sell them in pairs for the front and rear and as you can see are slotted and cross drilled and for $200 its not a bad price. I would just add some hawk pads and kvr steel lines also.

I just ordered a set of Power Slot Cryo front rotors and a full set of Hawk pads from performance peddler on Ebay.
These rotors are slotted only. There has been a lot of discussion about the lack of need for cross drilling, as well as issues with cross drilled rotors cracking.
I'm waiting for their arrival.
I also have steel lines coming from Todd @TCE.
This setup will get a good testing at Sebring in April.
If I'm not real happy with them, I'm gonna have to go big.

Can someone elborate on the quality of the Hawk pads? Dust? I was quoted $125 for OEM pads by my dealer. A little steep, but they have been virtually dust free, a real plus.

Dennis Reinhart has the complete EBC kit, with the SS-lines, I believe they're the same rotors.

You should seriously look at the EBC kit from Dennis Reinhart. I've had them on for 5000 miles and couldn't be happier. I stayed with the stock size so I could continue to run my 16" snows. I also went with the SS lines. I think that made the biggest difference I could "feel". If you want signficantly better stopping power, you have to move up to 13". Search the TCE Performance threads. For keeping the stock size, see Dennis.

I don't think his kit has the lines in it. It has 4 rotors and the front and rear pads.
He did do a group buy awhile back that included the lines though. Think it was $695.00 all.
Oh... those are the same rotors.

He's definitely got the lines too, they're just listed separately. Just click into his website.

Very true!
But I don't think they are part of the $550.00 EBC brake kit. You have to get them separately. For $200.00.

Yep same product, cheaper price and also matched them up with some EBC green pads. I'll be ordering these later on this upcoming week.

Are the Green Pads really what you want?
They are for street only and not for heavy cars.
It is an all around good pad a step above their Ultimax OEM pad.
The next step up is the Red Pad for street and heavy cars.
More agresssive pad.
Another step up would be the Yellow Pad and it is for street
and track , heavy cars. Very agressive, good bite cold or hot.
It comes in two versions --- regular yellow and upgraded yellow.
The upgraded version is the one that is painted blk. for police use.
Reinhart sells it, this one is in his kit. I have it and it works well.
Next step up is the Blue pad for track use and endurance racing,
heavy cars, lasts 3-5hrs. on track.
More agressive and expensive.

DO NOT BUY EBAY ROTORS. Most of them are bottom of the line chinese budget parts store rotors, that guys CNC and drill so people will pay more for them because they "look cool". I made the mistake of buying a $220 set from Rotor pros. The slots were not chamfered, sharp edges (bad!). 1,200 miles later and the rears are warped already. I did all highway driving and I always use a torque wrench on my wheels. NOt worth the headache. Buy name brand brake parts. Your life is worth good brakes.

While I would not steal thunder from DR....
I have had tremendous success with Baer Decela rotors I purchased from Autozone. They are 3 yr warrarnted against warps and cracks. i combined them with Akebono cermaic pads from Tire Rack, lines from DR and a brake flush from DR. I definately stop when and where I want to. I have over 30K on my pads and rotors. Dennis inspected last week during the brake flush and they were still fine.
It looks to me the FHP EBC kit is VERY similar to my rotor/pad setup. Combine this with SS lines and FLUSH not BLEED your brakes during the install. This would make a very potent kit most any regular/enthusiast driver would be very happy with.

I carry the new ATE Premium One Rotors
http://images22.fotki.com/v519/photos/4/41821/142907/ate_premiumOne_rotor-vi.jpg
I also carry PowerSlot, Powerslot Cryo, Wagner Thermoquiet and Command Automotive Rotors. These are quality replacement choices that will outperform the OE rotors, and outlast as well.
I carry a Dizzying array of Pads, Wagner Thermoquiet, Hawk, EBC, etc. If you don't want to change rotor sizes, there are tons of choices.

Wes,
I went to your site when I was shopping, but there was no complete listing on all the things there.
If I'd have seen a full list of what you can provide, I'd have called you.
Any way you could just list the things you can provide there? For next time?

Wes, I went there and did not see anything like that.
I'm a bit confused. I did search here and found the references to you selling Power Slot's and went to you site.
These are not new pages are they?
