I was able to go last year. Had a great time. I'm living in PHX now, so can't make it. Please make a pass on my behalf.

It will be a fun day anyway. It was a lot of fun last year. Good thing is that there is not a lot of waiting between runs. You can pretty much run as much as you want.
I can't remember his name or screen name, but has anybody heard from the Vorteched DTR guy from down around Corpus? He came up last year. It was very frustrating to run beside that car!
Reminder to bring the following items to the track.
Folding chairs
Bottled water
Helmet if running 13.99 or less
Fire retard jacket if needed.
Car care products
NTM Hat
Extra gas container if you want racing octane gas

No folding chair....mine got stolen out of my garage...just haven bought a new one yet...
I will even bring my show board for yall to check out in person
and will be bringing FRS radios...just incase...you never know
Have to stop and get the Silverback washed in the AM. Had to babysit the grandkids today so didn't get a chance to prep the car.
I'll bring you a folding chair Mike.
Silverback Mascot insisted on riding shotgun so he's strapped in a booster chair. He doesn't need to pay admission since he's only three years old.
What do pyschologist call this behavior; fantasy, role playing, delusion, what? :bs:
See ya'll tomorrow.
Mr. Jones, we'll meet at the strip?

Hey, what kind of show do you think I'm running here? Folding chairs are not entirely necessary. I've got access to one of the hospitality suites in the tower. It has chairs and a nice view of the track. VERY nice for getting out of the sun or wind or heat or cold or whatever is in store for us tomorrow. Partly cloudy, high 58, so it looks pretty good. My wife and some of her friends are coming and we're bringing some snacks for the room tomorrow. I'm gonna bring some tea, and you're welcome to bring whatever you like to hang out in the room. My girls, 4 and 8, will be there, along with a portable DVD player to keep them occupied in the corner. If any of your SO's have considered coming, but don't want to sit in the bleachers all day, this should fix them up. Of course, the folding chairs should be handy for hanging out around the cars in the pits.
Last year, I would run 2 or 3 passes and then go up to the room and snack a bit. Then run again. My times kept getting slower during the day. Of course, I blamed it on the heat, not the snacks!!
Pat, there is a full service car wash on Timberland Dr (bus 59) in Lufkin, and several coin operated ones if you want to go that way.
Mike, your storyboard should be a big hit at cruise night. I'm looking forward to having the Marauders lined up again.
Adam, hate to hear you're not coming, but with a choice between Lufkin and skiing, y'all would be without me too!
Anybody hear from Smokie and Libby?
Bobby, are you gonna be there or do you have to work?
I'm planning on being at the track between 10 and 10:30 tomorrow am. If anyone wants to get my cell number, PM me, and I"ll send it to you.
