Hi guys, I was looking to replace one wheel that a tire shop damaged, had repaired by a wheel collision repair place, and I am not happy with the quality of the repair. I found a place an hour and a half from me that says they have a polished full size spare that never has touched the road, perfect, for $250. If this is the case it is a great deal and I'll go buy it. I didn't realize you could order a Marauder with a polished full size spare, I thought they all were painted 18x8 if you had the full size (which is what my car has). Is the guy jerking me around or is he correct?

I thought the 300As came with an unpolished and unpainted aluminum spare (i.e. buff only). Heck, I don't know .... I got the darn donut spare with my 300B. :(

I have a 300A and it came with an unpolished 18x8 spare. It looks like it is sprayed with silver paint. This guy claims he has a spare that is polished and cleared just like the other 4 wheels.

Never mind, after another phone call I verified it is the crappy bare full size 18x8. What a num nuts.
I also have the unpolished 18x8 spare, but I found a polished rim on EBay (less than $200 & in great shape) and just had the tire transfered from the unpolished rim to the polished rim and I keep the center cap in the glove box.

Send your wheel to Wheels America.
They repair all wheels to NEW condition for a set price.
I scuffed 2 wheels on a curb and they made them look like new.
They also check them for straightness and correct if necesarry.

I just dealt with a wheel remanufacturer, I'll never do that again. I'd rather shell out the money for an unmolested wheel. I'll just use the slightly sc***** polished wheel I'm replacing as the full size spare, and sell someone else my 18x8 unpolished spare. I'll just have to keep an eye on Ebay.
