I've been thinking about installing a Fire Extinguisher in my car...I saw some pictures of where other people have put it....I'm the type that does not hack into the car, and make holes...So i found a website that shows a Lotus Elise with one mounted in front of the passenger seat ..I think I'm taking this route

Looks like some holes have to be made in the seat frame. :D

I like my trunk-subwoofer-mounted one.

So a update...I decided to use my OLD laptop base....I cut off a piece that would be in the way....Now I'm waiting on the extinguisher....In order to put the bracket in...You take out the two bolts that hold the seat in plcae...Lift it and slid the braket under...So I WILL NOT HACK UP MY SEAT...:cool4:

I'm interested in seeing the final install, maybe I'll add another extinguisher to the passenger compartment.

I am thinking you could use industrial strength velcro to attach a small extinguisher to the side of the factory sub in the trunk. But, I am pretty crazy.

How about some angles so that it can be attached to the underside seat structure. That way it can go forward and back with the seat.

I have contemplated the SAME thing. However, I have though about right in front of the DRIVER"S Seat. Because.....MINE never moves. :D

So...who has the hookup on sweet car fire extinguishers?????
