I searched, but wanted to make sure I have all the right info. It was beautiful all day yesterday, put the 18's back on, and washed and waxed her, didn't do the blue smoke thing at all. Today, kinda cloudy, a bit colder than yesterday, and I just started it up with the remote, and wow, I think it's the most blue smoke I've seen come out of my car ever (been doing it for a while but not too much.) I noticed Dennis if it's a 300A, it will be the driver side head? Is that correct? What else would/could it be? My car only has 21k on it and my mods are minimal. Is this something a non-Ford dealer could fix? I bought my car at a Chevy dealer and have an extended warranty on it, or is this an issue only an authorized Ford dealer can fix. If so, how much would this run me? Thanks for the input guys.

this is not something I would get in a tiffy over, but that's just me.
If you shut it off after a very short, cold run time, the next time you start up it will blow quite a bit of smoke...mostly due to excess fuel from the previous cold start.

Mine has done this off and on for over 3 years and is still going strong!!!:bows:
I originally thought it was ambient temperature related since it seemed to happen more frequently below 40* but that was even inconsistant??
Should you start the car to move it and shut it down in "Open Loop" (like the choke is on) it WILL smoke like a DDT fogger when you start it next time!!! Every CV I've had does this and now the Marauder!!
BTW.....Mine has never used any oil between changes (5000 miles) so I figure let her puff every once in awhile!!:D
Don't worry about it.....Drive it and enjoy!!

Same most times it's the drivers side, lab says no oil issues. Pensoil synthetic:)

I think its great that our cars do this, its unique and gives everone else a false sence of security....its just something that big, black, and fast cars do...anyone else could only be so lucky
