First Compliment

I thought this was worth mentioning…my 03 MM birth date 06/02 adopted date 03/07 got its first complement. Had the windshield chips check to get them sealed…the window guy said they were already sealed and have a good day. While walking way he turned around and said…nice car.:banana2: No one ever said that about my Taurus or E350 LOL. Anyway I thought that was cool.

Ya my kids are nuts for the MM. The co-workers were happy for me too but I thought they were just being polite. :party1:

Get ready for more. The MM is the only car I've owned that people go out of their way to look at it and compliment it. Nothing like riding down the highway and see cars weaving in and out of traffic trying to catch up to you, not to mention the looks at stop lights, etc. Went to a car show last year with Steve NC and we were given 2 spaces apiece to park in. All of the other Fords there got one space. I travel alot on business and I rent alot of cars, not the Jaguar, Infiniti G35, Lincoln or any other car I've driven get the looks my MM does. Just wait until you experience the "Crown Vic effect". :)

my wife loves the crown vic effect, it amuses her greatly. we got quite a few comments so far, its only been two days. we love this car.

After 3+ years I still get compliments all the time.

"Crown Vic Effect" - that's a great term. I've got black steel wheels and snow tires, with a CB antenna on the trunk. HUGE crown vic effect on the expressway. I had a guy just today ask me "How'd you buy a cop car? Is that even legal?"

Yeah, same birthday for me..and the compliments never stop. People just don't know what it is and that's gets them interested and then some have heard of it but never seen one.
