I noticed last weekend when I washing the car the chrome window moldings seems to be discolored. I assume its from the mag chloride they use on the roads (and the fact I haven't been able to wash the car due to the large amount of snow this year).

Anybody replaced theirs, if so how hard and where did you get replacements?

Thanks!!

Try a chrome polish first. I had to clean mine last spring and i was worried it wouldn't clean up, but it did

Agreed, polish them up or paint them gloss black. Removing them is a huge pain in the arse, I believe they're rivetted in place.

I replaced mine last fall, as they were all growing boogers inside the rubber part. Looked like crap. Igot new ones and put them on my self, easy job.

There is one rounded nut on the underside on each door. The rest is hesd in by pressure. Old ones out, new ones in, put the nut back on.

I took the time to put RTV Silicone on all the areas underneath where the salt water got in and caused corrosion.

My Dealer put mine under warranty for me, so I don't know the cost....
