Wow,
Smokin' times guys. Congrats Tom! Too bad it wasn't a week ago when the air was a little cooler. I'm afraid the "cool air" is gone until next December around these parts. Congrats again and Tear'em a New One!

I know, but eight degrees below normal is 57* for a low and 71* for a high. Those guys up north get to race below 70* most of the year! I would love to race, just once, in 50 degree weather.

Congrats Tom!:banana2:

What is impressive is that Tom's car is driven on the street.

Looking at your 60' and 90* temps I see a 10.6-10.8 next winter.

No Nitrous!

Florida is not the place where the Northern guys will run their personal best. The coldest air temp. I have ever ran in Florida was about 64 degrees and that was first run of the day when track opened at 10:00 am.

Florida personal best times are disadvantaged by anywhere from 0.2 to 0.5 seconds compared to guys up North, Tom running an 11.3 in Florida without nitrous tells me this plain and simple: Tom's car up North with nitrous could compete for worlds fastest Marauder title.

Congratulations Tom.:D

Tom and I both had great runs, the temp was in the 90's my best was 12.08 at 112 MPH that was on a stock motor with 60 K on the clock making a little over 460 RWHP , Tom has a built motor making over 570 RWHP, so now I have the bug to install my built Fox Lake motor, over all we had a great time, and every one liked the cars.

Well I am home, sun burnt tired and happy, I had a very good weekend, I enjoyed my time with TJA and his friend with the blown Mark 8 and Dennis Hot rodder, Ken and Louis, Tom had a great time 570 plus RWHP on a built motor.

Glassman has some awsome RWHP as well on the car we did for him last year his only issues like a lot of us is traction, I believe he is in the same range as Tom with a Vortech water to air JT trim. I will see im at Comerce.

I am proud of the fact I was the fastest Marauder there with a Stock motor, 12.08 at a OAT of 90 degrees and humidity of at least 75%, yes I wanted the 11.7 I had back in November at Gainesville but it was 20 degrees cooler weather then, my car makes over 450 RWHP on a motor with 60 K on the clock. I could have played with the timing, and I did some, but to me its not worth the risk of blowing up the motor.

I have a built motor waiting now, I have the bug, of getting it installed and turning up the boost, the new motor has Fox Lake stage 2 ported heads, a fully built bottom end, ARP head studs, high flow oil pump, extrude honed lower intake, I am going to run my old T Trim now, later upgrade to a JT or the YS, the kit is aw some the car shifted perfect.

There has been a delay on getting some SC kits out because I wanted the pipes perfect, they were sent back twice, and then had to go to the powder coater, but to me its worth the wait, and the kit is priced right considering what is in it, so thanks every one for the support, we can't hardly wait for the 22nd and see every one in Louisville.

Yep, we had a great time Dennis. I am on the road and forgot to bring my digital camera to load in the pictures I took. My son-in-law with the 94 Procharger Mark VIII ran a best of 12.8...Was disapointed but won't be once he gets in my prior Marauder motor..Wish more MM guys could have made it.

And those Hooter girls served great food:D . And looked kinda nice too:P .
