:welcome1: The Coral Spring Police Department sent me a Letter Yesterday asking us ( The S.S.M. ) if we would Join them this Year ( Like we did last year) For their Special Olympic's Peoples Choice Awards 11 th. Annual Car Show. Date: Sunday, April.15,2007. The Show is being held at the Coral Square Mall, University Drive/ W. Atlantic Blvd. Time is from Noon to 4 pm. ( Be their around 10:30 am or so). We will be Meeting for Breakfast at the "Omega Diner, 10436 W. Atlantic Blvd, Coral Springs, 954-255-6128" , Time 9:00-9:15, if you would like to join us. Cost is $12 Pre-Registration or $15 the day of the show. For more info call Cindy Heafy at 954-344-1833. Their will be *** Dash Plaques,:trophy1: Trophies: , Door Prizes, Club Participation Welcome, 50/50 drawing, Goodie Bags, DJ. If you would like to go and want a Pre-Registration form let me know. Lets say 9-9:15 am. for Breakfast, this way we have about a hour to BS and have a nice Breakfast. The car show is down the road ( 5-10 minutes if I remember correctly ) so we can get their around 10:15-10:30 am. to get the sports we want. Brian could you post a address and the name of the place. I got a call from Cindy the Women running the Event and I toild her we'd have somewhere between 8-10 Marauders. ( Maybe more). She said to please get their early if we expect to get all together. I told her we'd be their around 10:30 or so. No problem. I'll make some copys of the papers for those who show friday nite at the Tower Shops. ( The Flyer with all info.* Breakfast info. * Registration form). Other's that show up that day can sign up as they get their.

I had a nice time. We all got together for breakfast at the Omega diner. Then headed to the mall. Actually, I went back home to get this MM:

I won a door prize (a 250 ft lb capacity, cigarette lighter powered, impact gun), plus a Best in Show prize (cleaning kit), and the Sunshine State Marauders (8 MMs) took the Group Participation trophy. The show ended at 2 instead of 4 due to declining weather conditions (wind and rain).

I even won, a door prize (Cleaning kit) and the 50/50 raffle ( thanks to all who contributed :D ) all it took was to buy enough tickets that was the length of the car. But now after this event that was sponsored by the Coral Springs Police department, who now know what I drive and who I am, I must set an example and remember not to spin the tires in the city of CS Florida. Before I thought I was being watched, now I know I will be.

Oh, and thanks John Nero for that little Burnout you did in the parking lot...in front of the police mobile office truck:nono:. Now they will probably associate that little power exhibition with any Black MM they see, which will probably be me and some others in the area .
