MM2004 and I attended this meet last year. For 20 bucks(pre-registered)you get a 2 day pass, great goody bags, door prizes AND a lap around the famous oval at IMS. You also get a pic as your car crosses the yard of bricks. There were only 3 MM's in the show, 2 blacks and a DTR. If you missed MV2 and have dreamed about taking a lap at Indy, now is your chance. It would lbe cool to have a large MM contingent.

This was a great time last year, and would encourage anyone that can make it to do so. ;)

I was amazed at the size of the race track when driving on it. :bows:

Possibly.

That is about 170 Miles for me. It would be about a 3hr drive each way. I assume that the lap is NOT at high speed correct?

What is need on the car for a lap? Anything specific?

Nope not high speed, all you need is a drivable vehicle. You should make a weekend out of it! The 1320 is about 9 miles from IMS. It used to be called IRP(Indianapolis Raceway Park) Now it is called O'Reilly Raceway Park.

I remember driving the track with the Hurst/Olds club in my '72 H/O convertible, and Linda Vaughn sitting on the boot as we went around the track. Fun times :):)
