Would there be any point in asking the Mercury rep. if his division has any plans to 'supercharge' the MM such as the Cobra embraces??

There is obviously a great advantage to the factory installing the supercharger over an after market unit.

Sure...you can ask...and if ONLY 20 Marauders show up for this thing...he'll say "there's your answer" and point to the "Marauder Corral".

Now...we get 50+ there...then you got somethin. Just my opinion.

It's my understanding that the Mercury folks, including program head, know about the desire for a factory supercharger. I also know that they are looking at the Trilogy setup. Who knows....

If we don't have a GREAT showing at Ennis, IMHO, we will have instant collectibles--great for us, but I hate to see such a great car get such a lousy deal

You're not alone in your opinion, TAF. Excuse me for adding to your post in quote.

Neither do I "know," but I know this. Let Steve Babcock see an empty corral, and we're all done.

IMHO...

We will have to ask Babcock himself at the Trilogy open house. Jerry indicated he will be doing a presentation about the current Marauder production concerns that we will voice, as well as the future direction for the Marauder Project..... I plan on asking some direct questions, see what he has to say.

I'm willing to set the "supercharger" topic aside, along with many other topics, such as quality control, and decontenting. I think it is much more important for us all to have our MM voices heard, to be more than just a niche group. If you want to see more production of the MM from LM, get to Ennis in Sept...IMHO.
