Just noticed that my panel display including the 2 gauges are very dim. I started to roll the dimmer switch back and forth but noticed there was no change in the illumination, so I'm assuming it's the dimmer switch. Is it an easy fix? I researched some past threads and it seems to be a problem on a few cars. Any help will be great.....
P.S Bluerauder this is my 3rd wish. Take that lamp out Big Guy... LOL...

It is in the headlight switch assembly. The trim that has adjustable pedal switch and the other trim that has the clock (if applicable) needs to be removed to access the lower bolts to the instrument cluster surround. The upper bolts are visable on top near the cluster. The radio may have to be removed too.

You don't have to take it all apart, though.
Grab the headlight switch knob firmly, and pull it towards you. Often the whole switch will slide out and you can then disconenct the headlamp and panel dim switch.
If the knob slides off, reinstall and remove the correct way.
