Hi guys, I have to check but I think my factory warranty ran out a month ago, and I wasn't on top of things enough to extend if before it did. Is the premium ESP worth getting? Has anyone financed an ESP plan? It says it's a pre approved 0% interest deal where you just divide the total cost by the # of months you want to pay it off over. I am already seeing problems with this car at 24k miles and there is no way it is going to make it to 100k without some major repairs. LOL. Thanks!!

If I remember correctly you can only purchase the Ford ESP if your still under the factory warranty. I know I checked once and the Ford and Mercury was 36months/36000 miles. After that it was not available. The Lincoln was 48M/50K. Luckily mine had the Premier CPO 6yr/75K extended warranty. I just had both my V/C gaskets and all the spark plug o-ring gaskets replaced as well as 1 COP and spark plug and it cost me $150.00. Oh yeah, I also got a Toyota 4Runner to drive while it was in the shop, no charge.

I went for the 7/60k PremiumCare plan. This is just in case I need to have something done that could cost a small fortune.

Ford's website let me put in my vin and mileage and it said I can buy ESP ,that must mean my warranty is not quite out yet. I will jump on it. Thanks!
