I'm told it can be done, but how? I have the name of the ESP purchaser, and a copy of an OASIS report, with the info. what else do I need?

Thanks, Dean

If it is a FOMOCO ESP you will haveto go to a dealerships business office and do the transfer....usually $100 Canadian.

I just transferred mine... from my old Mustang to the new one, did it over the phone, and my dealership didn't charge me a dime.
YMMV.

When I bought my 1995 Mustang GTS, I had the wholesale dealer make a letter stating that my vehicle was a reposession and permitted me to transfer the policy into my name.

I think the previous owner has to release it to you....when you sell your vehicle...you have to ask for it back, other wise you are out that money you spent in the first place....I did that with my Taurus and when I traded it in I called for the ESP and the GAP insurance and I got both back. Not the whole amount but a good majority.

$50 at any Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Dealership for the paperwork. You get your new papers and Ford ESP booklet in the mail in about 10 days made out to your name.
