I came across this article while searching for something Marauder-specific on Google. It's old - pre-Marauder in fact. Has some interesting points and interesting to see which points Mercury has proceeded forward with.

Still got the hockey-stick logo though...then again having the Mercury girl flick the god's head logo like a tuning fork might look kinda odd...

I found this bit to be the most intriguing (although the whole article was right-on):

"I know of one interesting Mercury that is coming, the Marauder: a big-engine, sportier version of the Grand Marquis. But only 10,000 or so are planned."

Even before the very first MM was sold, they never intended to sell very many. I almost wonder why Mercury even bothered...

Yep! All very true.

Also note the orientation of the old God's Head logo - straight up!
