What would you the members like to see as a group buy, I am willing to help but every one must understand what MAP means, it means if you are a dealer, for other companies products you have signed contract to selling there products at a minimum price, and you CANNOT adversities under MAP if you do you can loose your account, yes there sites out there way under map. I can not to this, I cannot post those kinds of prices, or face being cut off from my suppliers, I was asked today about the Mezirie water pump, I cannot beat that price, I can come close so if members want a GB I will set it up just let me know, they have them in stock and would go out right away EBC also has many kits ready to go, so you helped me get here, I appreciate this so just let me know what I can do to help you.

You are free to sell any product at any reasonable or unreasonable price as you see fit and NO ONE can tell you what price to sell the products you purchase for resale.
Once you have purchased and paid for them, you own them and can do with them what you see reasonable, unreasonable and fit.

There are $$$$ support programs that are given by manufacturers and their guidelines can dictate a range of prices they are willing to support.
If you advertise in a PRINTED MEDIA, a price outside of their acceptable range, you can lose the financial support they offer to you for advertising assistance.
That is legal, and that, in no way, should be affected by what business you conduct at MM.NET or any other website.
That type of program is focuses on advertising that appears in printed media, newspapers and magazines ONLY.
I have not found any manufacturer or retailer that would match any price posted anywhere on the internet for whatever reason.

What are advertising funds. I don't get them, I do not know any vendor here who does either. This may be true for something you are aware of, it is not true on many products others sell here, for example SCT strongly enforces MAP, and if you advertise any where under map they can and will pull your account for a multiple offense, Metco is a great company we can have a GB, but we could not post under Map, many companies have paid a buy in, I did with Mezirie and others to get a jobber pricing on there products, its not fair to the other dealers to post and advertise under a Minimum Suggested resale price. I am at a great event here in horse cave lets not get this off track. I asked what you the members would like, I will start on this next week.

On MAP pricing if you violate that policy they have the right to pull the line from us regardless of where we place our ads. We can sell at whatever price we want but not advertise below the Map price. There is very little co op money around for ads anymore. They keep on shifting costs to the vendors which now costs us money. They do hire people to find the violation on the internet and other dealers also report them. I know this is a touchy subject bout are hands are tied. Hope this helps clear it up and ends the discussion. I dont like the controls but have to follow the rules!
